Update from Zermatt

sunny 70 °F

Well, so far SO fun!

We have had a great trip! & are getting excited for Austria next. So far we've seen in the Jung Frau region: Interlaken, Underseen (my most fav so far), Lauterbrennen, Murren, Grimmelwald (my next most fav), & now Zermatt. They've all been amazing!

The weather has been drizzly most days, but nothing that has stopped us yet. The 3-ish days of clear sky's have been wonderful though. Those were the days we went Canyoning, hiked the Eiger base trail, Canyon jumped (Whoa, 250 foot free fall), and today woke up to a view of the Matterhorn (take that Bob Barker & the Price is Right)! Tomorrow we'll arrive in St. Maritz for a few nights after riding the Glacier Express train.

It's all been wonderful and quite smooth actually. Swiss pass was a brilliant purchase & so far we really feel good about the path we've planned for our trip! Taking LOTS of pix (Brandon is beginning to make me think he's Asian he's taking so many pix). We'll share them all soon, when we return! Sure wish we could post em'...

I've been thinking a lot about little Lentil & Beau.
We love you all, but might not miss you for a few more days ;)

A day out in Interlaken

It's good to be Swiss...

overcast 66 °F

Another great day, even with the rain. Met Bill & his wife from Mississippi on their 1 1/2 year honeymoon. Made sure to get a pic with 'em.
He reminded us of the old "up" man.

We rode the oldest cog wheel train in Europe to reach one of the oldest hotels in the region. Built in 1879. Just beautiful.

Ate great cheese on our boat float & confirmed our canyoning trip for tomorrow!

We'll catch up again soon!

Canyoning Chli Schliere

The Extreme One!

This is one guided trip we are looking forward to.

Hopefully by June 10th we will be ingulfed in the swiss culture. Sitting in heart of the swiss alps (Interlaken) with the Eiger in reach and the air so clean and crisp it is likely we will be adding years onto our lives.

Picture this high in the alps with skilled local guides watching water rush through the granite canyons of the famous Jungfrau region for six hours of pur adrenaline junkie adventure.

The best of the best, Chli Schliere takes canyoning to the ultimate level. This Canyon has high rappels, big jumps, fast slides and is considered the best in the region. Chli Schliere is a physically demanding and technical canyon with a high fun factor.
